For a brighter, more pronounced dill flavor, use fresh dill (approximately 1/2 cup, chopped). If you don't have buttermilk, you can substitute with regular milk mixed with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken slightly before using. Adjust the amount of lemon juice to your preference. Start with 1/4 cup and taste, adding more as needed. This dressing is also delicious as a dip for vegetables or as a spread for sandwiches.
