For an even richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. Don't overbake the cookies, or they will be dry. They should be soft in the center when you remove them from the oven. Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. A pinch of sea salt sprinkled on top after baking enhances the chocolate flavor.
