For an even richer flavor, try using chicken broth instead of water. Feel free to add other vegetables to the pot, such as peas, bell peppers, or zucchini. If you don't have fresh parsley, dried parsley can be used, but use half the amount. A squeeze of lime juice can be used if you don't have lemons on hand. If the rice absorbs all the water before it’s cooked, add ¼ cup more until the rice is tender.
