Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the apple juice, maple syrup, bourbon, brown sugar, liquid aminos, Dijon mustard, and granulated garlic. (2 minutes)

02

Step
5 mins

Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. (5 minutes)

03

Step
12 mins

Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the glaze has thickened slightly and reduced by approximately 1/3. This should take about 12 minutes. The glaze should coat the back of a spoon.

04

Step
10 mins

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the glaze cool slightly. The glaze will thicken further as it cools. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Brush generously over roasted chicken, pork, or vegetables during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking, or serve as a decadent gravy.

For a richer flavor, consider using apple cider instead of apple juice.
If you prefer a thicker glaze, you can simmer for a longer time, being careful not to burn it.
Store leftover glaze in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before using.
