Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees F (199 degrees C) following the manufacturer's directions. (Approximately 5 minutes)

02

Step

In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded Cheddar cheese until well blended.

03

Step

Evenly distribute the cheese mixture among the jalapeño halves, filling each one generously.

04

Step

Place ¼ slice of salami on top of the cheese filling in each jalapeño half.

05

Step

Wrap each filled jalapeño half with a halved strip of bacon, ensuring the bacon covers as much of the filling as possible. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

06

Step

Carefully arrange the jalapeño poppers in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

07

Step

Air fry until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10 to 12 minutes. Check halfway through and rotate the poppers for even cooking. (10-12 minutes)

08

Step

Remove the jalapeño poppers from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Remove toothpicks before eating.

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika to the cream cheese mixture.
Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model and the size of the jalapeño poppers.
If you prefer a milder flavor, soak the halved and seeded jalapeños in ice water for 30 minutes before filling to reduce the heat.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or a spicy aioli.

Be careful not to overfill the jalapeños, or the cheese will melt out.

My bacon didn't get crispy enough, so I added a few extra minutes of cooking time.
