Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease mini muffin cups thoroughly. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, chocolate chips, vanilla whey protein powder, white sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and baking soda until well combined. (5 minutes)

03

Step

In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, peanut butter, eggs, vegetable oil, and plain yogurt until smooth and creamy. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Fill each greased mini muffin cup about 3/4 of the way full. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, approximately 10 minutes. (10 minutes)

07

Step

Let the mini muffins cool in the muffin pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely, about 20 minutes. (30 minutes)

For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
Store the protein bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage. They thaw quickly!
Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking for a salty-sweet twist.
You can substitute almond butter or sunflower seed butter for peanut butter if you have allergies.
