For a more intense dill flavor, use fresh dill instead of dried. Be sure to chop it very finely before adding it to the butter. Feel free to experiment with other herbs and spices. Garlic powder, lemon zest, or chives would all be delicious additions. This butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 2 months. If freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then in a freezer bag.
