Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, tea bags, lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. (2 minutes)

02

Step
12 mins

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. (12 minutes)

03

Step
40 mins

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the spiced tea mixture cool completely. Once cooled, strain out and discard the solids (tea bags, lemon slices, and spices), reserving the infused liquid. (30 minutes)

04

Step
5 mins

In a large jar or pitcher, pour in the white wine and mix it with the cooled, strained tea mixture. (2 minutes)

05

Step
2 mins

Add the apple chunks and dried cranberries to the sangria, then stir in the apple brandy. (3 minutes)

06

Step
3 mins

Cover the jar or pitcher and chill the sangria in the refrigerator for at least 24 to 48 hours to allow the flavors to fully develop. (24-48 hours)

07

Step
36 mins

Serve cold, and garnish with extra apple slices or cranberries for an elegant touch. (5 minutes)

For a non-alcoholic version, replace the white wine with sparkling white grape juice or apple cider.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
Feel free to experiment with other fruits such as oranges, pears, or pomegranate seeds for added flavor and visual appeal.
If you don't have apple brandy, you can substitute it with regular brandy or even a splash of apple juice for a slightly different but still delicious flavor.

Easy to follow recipe and delicious result. I added a few orange slices for extra flavor.

I found it a bit too sweet for my taste, so I reduced the sugar by 1/4 cup, and it was perfect.

  • Karine Brakus

I let it chill for 48 hours, and the flavors were incredible. Will definitely make this again!
