Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the orange juice, water, sugar, and honey. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Add the cranberries, blueberries, raspberries, orange zest, and orange juice to the saucepan. Stir gently to combine. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Reduce the heat to low, and simmer the sauce, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency, mashing some of the berries with the back of a spoon to release their juices. (20 minutes)

05

Step

Stir in the pumpkin pie spice during the last few minutes of cooking. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool completely. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools. (30 minutes)

07

Step

Transfer the Berry Cranberry Sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld. (180 minutes)

For a smoother sauce, use an immersion blender to puree a portion of the cranberry sauce after cooking.
Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more honey or sugar, a tablespoon at a time.
This sauce can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
