Follow The Directions

01

Step

Combine all ingredients in a food processor. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Process until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent discoloration. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to chill thoroughly. (60 minutes)

For an even smoother texture, blanch the spinach briefly in boiling water for 30 seconds, then immediately transfer to an ice bath before processing.
Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. A pinch of cumin or a squeeze of lemon juice can add extra depth of flavor.
Serve with tortilla chips, crudités, pita bread, or as a spread on sandwiches and wraps.
To prevent browning, keep the dip covered and refrigerated until serving. You can also add a thin layer of sour cream on top before refrigerating.
Make it vegan: Substitute the sour cream with a plant-based alternative, like cashew cream or vegan sour cream.

I used Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and it was still delicious and a bit healthier.
