For extra crispy chicken, double-fry the chicken. Fry for 2 minutes, remove and let rest for 5 minutes, then fry again for another 2 minutes. Adjust the sweetness and saltiness of the sauce to your liking by adding more sugar or soy sauce. If you don't have peanut oil, vegetable oil or canola oil can be used as a substitute.
