Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a 6-quart slow cooker, arrange the turkey wings. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step

In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and seasoned salt. Pour the mixture over the turkey wings. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

03

Step

Add enough water to the slow cooker to fully submerge the turkey wings. Gently stir to combine the ingredients. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

04

Step

Cover the slow cooker and cook on High for 6 hours or on Low for 8 hours, or until the turkey wings are extremely tender and easily shred with a fork. (Cook time: 6-8 hours)

05

Step

Once the turkey wings are cooked, stir in the saffron rice. Ensure the rice is submerged in the liquid. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

06

Step

Continue cooking until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid, approximately 15-20 minutes. (Cook time: 15-20 minutes)

07

Step

Shred the turkey meat from the bones using two forks. Stir the shredded turkey back into the rice and sauce. Serve hot.

For a richer flavor, brown the turkey wings in a skillet before adding them to the slow cooker. Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Adjust the amount of water depending on the size of your slow cooker and the turkey wings. You want the wings to be fully submerged.
Feel free to add other vegetables to the slow cooker, such as chopped onions, carrots, or celery, for added flavor and nutrition.
