Bake pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Loosely cover pie with aluminum foil to prevent burning; bake until pie is bubbling, 10 to 15 more minutes. (40 minutes)

For a richer flavor, try using brown sugar instead of white sugar.
A sprinkle of cinnamon adds a warm, comforting note to the pie.
If your blackberries are particularly tart, you may need to add a bit more sugar.
Let the pie cool completely before slicing to prevent a runny filling.
