Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly butter an 8-inch square baking dish. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, beat together the baking mix, milk, egg, vanilla pudding mix, and softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Chop the drained peaches into bite-sized pieces and scatter evenly over the batter. (5 minutes)

04

Step

In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and reserved peach juice until smooth and creamy. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the peaches. (5 minutes)

05

Step

In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden. (35 minutes)

07

Step

Let cool completely before slicing and serving. Refrigerate leftovers to maintain optimal freshness.

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese.
Fresh peaches can be substituted for canned. Use about 2 cups of peeled and chopped fresh peaches.
To prevent the top from browning too quickly, tent the baking dish with foil during the last 10-15 minutes of baking.
A graham cracker crust can be added to the bottom of the baking dish for added texture.
