Follow The Directions

01

Step

Cook the macaroni: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Rinse under cold water and drain thoroughly. (Approximately 8-10 minutes)

02

Step

Prepare the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan and cover completely with cold water. Bring water to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool, peel, and chop. (Approximately 25 minutes)

03

Step

Whisk the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the Ranch-style salad dressing, sugar, white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined. (Approximately 2 minutes)

04

Step

Combine and chill: In a large bowl, gently combine the cooked pasta, chopped eggs, thawed peas, green onions, pickles, celery, and Cheddar cheese. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. (Approximately 40 minutes)

For an extra burst of flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of chopped fresh dill or parsley.
If you prefer a tangier flavor, add an extra teaspoon of white wine vinegar or a squeeze of lemon juice to the dressing.
To prevent the salad from becoming too watery, ensure the pasta and peas are thoroughly drained before combining the ingredients.
This salad can be prepared a day in advance, allowing the flavors to deepen even further. Just give it a good stir before serving.
