Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Prepare the glass rim: On separate small plates, spread 1 teaspoon of chamoy and 1 teaspoon of chili-lime seasoning. Dip the rim of your serving glass first into the chamoy, then into the chili-lime seasoning. Set aside. (5 minutes)

02

Step
5 mins

Blend the mango mixture: In a high-powered blender, combine the frozen mango chunks, water, and lime juice. Blend until you achieve a smooth, thick consistency. Add more water, a tablespoon at a time, if needed to reach your desired texture. (5 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

Assemble the Mangonada: Spoon 1 tablespoon of chamoy into the bottom of the prepared glass. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of chili-lime seasoning over the chamoy. Gently pour half of the blended mango mixture into the glass. Repeat the layers with the remaining chamoy, chili-lime seasoning, and mango mixture. (5 minutes)

04

Step
2 mins

Garnish and Serve: Top the Mangonada with diced fresh mango. Drizzle additional chamoy over the top for an extra burst of flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy the explosion of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors! (2 minutes)

For a smoother texture, use slightly thawed mango chunks.
Adjust the amount of chamoy and chili-lime seasoning to your personal spice preference.
Feel free to add a splash of orange juice for a sweeter, tangier flavor.
Garnish with a tamarind straw for an extra touch of Mexican flair.
Make it boozy by adding a shot of tequila or mezcal!
