Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add egg noodles and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well. (10 minutes)

03

Step

In a large bowl, gently combine the cooked noodles with sour cream, cottage cheese, raisins, 1/2 cup of the sugar, and beaten eggs until everything is evenly distributed. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Dot the top with pieces of butter. (3 minutes)

05

Step

In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with the ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the noodle pudding. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown and the pudding is set. (45 minutes)

07

Step

Remove from oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. This allows the pudding to set slightly and makes it easier to slice. (10 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use brown butter instead of regular melted butter.
Add a splash of vanilla extract to the noodle mixture for extra aroma.
If you don't have raisins, you can substitute with dried cranberries or chopped dried apricots.
For a crispier topping, broil the pudding for the last 1-2 minutes of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
