Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

In a blender, combine the uncooked white rice, water, and raw almonds. Blend until the mixture is well combined, about 2 minutes. The mixture will have a coarse texture.

02

Step
5 mins

Strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher. Discard the solids. Stir in the cold brew coffee concentrate and blue agave nectar until well combined.

03

Step
1 mins

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the horchata coffee over the ice. Garnish with cinnamon sticks for an aromatic touch.

For a richer flavor, soak the rice and almonds in the water for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before blending. This will soften the ingredients and enhance their flavors.
Adjust the amount of agave nectar to your preferred sweetness level. You can also use other sweeteners like honey or maple syrup.
Feel free to experiment with different types of milk, such as almond milk or oat milk, for a creamier texture.

I love how easy this is to make. I’ve started making a big batch of the horchata on the weekend so I can have it ready to go during the week.

I found it a bit too sweet with the agave nectar. Next time, I'll try using less.
