Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet; pierce with a fork several times. Season generously with freshly ground black pepper. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Whisk in olive oil, white cooking wine, crushed garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, onion salt, ground mustard, and hot pepper sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, until heated through and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. (8 minutes)

04

Step

Generously brush the honey-butter mixture over the salmon fillets. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Bake salmon fillets in the preheated oven, basting with the honey-butter mixture every 5 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork, about 15 minutes. (15 minutes)

06

Step

Coat each fillet with honey; continue baking until beautifully glazed and caramelized, about 3 to 5 minutes. (5 minutes)

For a richer flavor, consider using brown butter instead of regular butter.
Ensure the salmon is cooked through but still moist. Overcooking will result in dry fish.
Serve immediately with a side of roasted vegetables or quinoa for a complete and balanced meal.
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving can further enhance the flavors.
Adjust the amount of honey and hot sauce according to your preferred level of sweetness and spice.

I accidentally used too much honey, but it still turned out great! Just a little sweeter.

The only thing I changed was adding a little smoked paprika to the butter mixture. It gave it a nice smoky flavor.

The key is to not overcook the salmon. It should be moist and flaky.

My family loved this! Even my picky eater asked for seconds.
