Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Aluminum Foil; sprinkle with cornmeal. Set aside. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Brown Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Unroll pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Carefully stretch or roll the dough into a 13x10-inch rectangle. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Arrange the browned sausage evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Layer fresh baby spinach leaves over the cheese. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and the grated Parmesan cheese. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Starting from a long side, tightly roll up the dough to form a 13-inch-long loaf. Pinch the seam and ends to seal the roll securely. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Place the loaf, seam side down, on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top of the loaf with the lightly beaten egg. Using a sharp knife, cut four 2-inch slits in the top of the loaf to allow steam to escape during baking. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the pizza rolls are golden brown and the crust is fully cooked. If the top begins to brown too quickly, cover it loosely with foil during the last 5 minutes of baking. (25 minutes)

08

Step

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing into rounds. Serve warm with warmed pizza sauce for dipping. (5 minutes)

For a vegetarian option, replace the Italian sausage with sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers.
Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and toppings to customize your pizza rolls.
The pizza rolls can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake. Add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
Serve with a side salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
