For a more intense vanilla flavor, use vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract.
If the frosting is too thick, add a tiny bit more water, one drop at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.
For a thinner frosting, add more water. For a thicker frosting, add more confectioners' sugar.
This frosting can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
