For best results, use room temperature ingredients. To prevent the cookies from spreading too much, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Store the cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Feel free to experiment with other types of chips or nuts. White chocolate chips or walnuts would also be delicious.
