Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Generously brush a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter to prevent sticking. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Place the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls in the prepared baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly over the rolls. Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the roast beef, followed by dollops of cheddar cheese sauce. If using, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the top halves of the rolls. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese sauce. (10 minutes)

03

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining melted butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, the filling is heated through, and the tops of the rolls are golden brown and toasted. (14 minutes)

05

Step

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. (5 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use a combination of Gruyere and cheddar cheese in your cheese sauce.
To prevent the bottoms from getting soggy, you can lightly toast the bottom halves of the rolls before adding the fillings.
These sliders are best served warm. You can assemble them ahead of time and bake just before serving.
Spice it up by adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture or using a spicy BBQ sauce.
