Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a 9x13-inch baking pan, combine the vegetable oil, herb seasoning, paprika, and salt. Add the thinly sliced steak, undrained diced tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, sliced onion, and sliced green bell pepper. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, until the vegetables are tender and the steak is cooked through, approximately 25 minutes. Check for doneness by ensuring the steak is no longer pink and the vegetables are easily pierced with a fork. (25 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a clove of minced garlic or a splash of red wine vinegar to the baking pan before cooking.
This dish freezes exceptionally well. Allow it to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container and freezing for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
Feel free to customize the vegetables to your liking. Zucchini, yellow squash, or even a handful of spinach would be delicious additions.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a little cold water to the baking pan during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
