Carefully remove potatoes from the oven. Let cool slightly before unwrapping. Cut open and spread with any leftover butter mixture. Serve immediately with desired toppings.

For extra crispy skin, place the unwrapped baked potatoes directly on the oven rack for the last 10 minutes of baking.

Leftover baked potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
