Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oregano, pepper, cayenne pepper, and thyme. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Pat shrimp dry and place in a large bowl. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning mixture and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Place shrimp in a single layer on a sheet pan without overcrowding. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Cook in the preheated oven until shrimp are opaque in the middle, about 8 minutes. Immediately add butter to the hot pan and toss with shrimp until butter is melted. (8 minutes)

06

Step

Sprinkle with parsley, if desired and serve with lemon wedges. (2 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try browning the butter slightly before tossing it with the shrimp.
Serve immediately for the best texture. If the shrimp sit too long, they can become rubbery.
Feel free to adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your preferred spice level. A pinch of brown sugar can also enhance the Cajun spice blend.
