For an extra crispy crust, try baking the scacce directly on a pizza stone or preheated baking sheet. Feel free to experiment with different fillings, such as ricotta cheese, spinach, or roasted vegetables. Scacce are traditionally cooked in very hot, wood-fired ovens, so don't be afraid of a little char!

Apr 3, 2025I was a bit intimidated at first, but the step-by-step instructions were clear and easy to follow. The scacce turned out perfectly – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
