Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a small saucepan, bring milk to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Stir in the rolled oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Ensure all ingredients are well combined. (1 minute)

03

Step

Reduce heat to medium-low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

04

Step

Remove the lid and stir in the canned pumpkin puree until the oatmeal is smooth and evenly colored. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

05

Step

Remove from heat. Let the oatmeal sit for 2 minutes to thicken slightly before serving. (2 minutes)

For a creamier texture, use whole milk or add a tablespoon of cream at the end.
Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference.
Top with chopped nuts, a drizzle of maple syrup, or a sprinkle of extra cinnamon for added flavor and texture.
This oatmeal can be easily doubled or tripled to serve more people.
