Follow The Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place a cooling rack on top. Spray the rack with cooking spray. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

In another small bowl, stir together the pizza sauce and sun-dried tomato pesto until well combined. Set aside. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom layer of rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Set the top layer aside. (Prep time: 3 minutes)

Sprinkle half of the cheese mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Top with half of the pepperoni slices, followed by half of the sauce mixture. Repeat the layers once more. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 15 minutes.

While the sliders are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is well combined, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

Remove the sliders from the oven and place the top layer of rolls over cheese. Brush the top of the rolls evenly with the prepared butter mixture. Return the sliders to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and slightly crisp.
