Follow The Directions

01

Step

Combine panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a food processor; blend until finely crushed. Transfer the panko mixture to a shallow bowl. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Whisk eggs and milk together in a separate bowl to create an egg wash. Place flour in another shallow bowl. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Dredge each chicken piece in flour, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, dip it into the egg wash, letting any excess drip off. Finally, press the chicken into the panko mixture, coating it thoroughly. Shake off any excess crumbs. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Carefully fry the chicken in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the fryer. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 3 to 5 minutes per batch. Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). (20 minutes)

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the panko mixture.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet chili, ranch, or honey mustard.
Ensure the oil temperature remains consistent for even cooking and crispy results.
Don't overcrowd the pan, or the oil temperature will drop, resulting in soggy chicken poppers.
