Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a large, portable bowl with a tight-fitting lid, combine the rice noodles, diced cooked chicken, bok choy, shredded carrot, chopped green onion, dashi broth powder, nutritional yeast flakes, grated fresh ginger, ground black pepper, ground white pepper, and red pepper flakes. (5 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

In a separate small, portable container, whisk together the tamari soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and gluten-free miso paste until well combined. Secure the lid. (2 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

When ready to enjoy, add the boiling water to the noodle bowl. Gently push the noodles aside and crack the egg into the center of the bowl, stirring lightly with chopsticks or a fork. Close the lid tightly and allow the mixture to sit until the noodles have softened, approximately 3 minutes. (5 minutes)

04

Step
2 mins

Remove the lid and pour the tamari-miso mixture over the noodles and egg. Stir well to combine all ingredients thoroughly. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Enjoy immediately. Garnish with extra green onion or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for added flavor and visual appeal (optional).

For a vegetarian option, substitute the cooked chicken with tofu or edamame.
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preferred level of spiciness.
Feel free to add other vegetables such as mushrooms, spinach, or bean sprouts.
If you don't have dashi broth powder, you can use vegetable broth powder instead.
For a richer flavor, try using a high-quality bone broth instead of water.
