Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, gently combine the meatloaf mix, diced apples, onion, crushed stuffing mix, celery, eggs, milk, water, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed without overmixing. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Spread the cream of mushroom soup evenly into the bottom of a 9x5-inch loaf pan. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Spoon the meatloaf mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing gently to ensure an even distribution. Use a spatula to smooth the top of the loaf. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the meatloaf is no longer pink in the center and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center registers at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). (90 minutes)

06

Step

Allow the meatloaf to cool in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving platter, so that the cream of mushroom soup coats the top. (10 minutes)

07

Step

Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite side dishes such as mashed potatoes and dinner rolls.

For a richer flavor, consider browning the meatloaf mix in a skillet before combining it with the other ingredients.
Feel free to experiment with different types of apples, such as Honeycrisp or Fuji, for varying degrees of sweetness and tartness.
If you prefer a crispier topping, sprinkle additional crushed stuffing mix over the meatloaf before baking.
Ground beef can be substituted if meatloaf mix is not available.
