Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large bowl, combine milk, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Add ground beef and mix thoroughly until well combined. Shape the mixture into 36 to 48 meatballs. (Prep time: 15 minutes)

02

Step

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. In batches, cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer the browned meatballs to a plate and set aside. (Cook time: 20 minutes)

03

Step

In a large pot, combine beef broth, whole peeled tomatoes (crush them slightly with your hands as you add them), corn, celery, cabbage, onion, zucchini, dry red wine, dried parsley, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the browned meatballs. Bring the soup to a simmer and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 35 to 40 minutes. (Cook time: 40 minutes)

04

Step

Stir in the broken spaghetti and continue to cook until the pasta is tender, about 20 minutes more. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. (Cook time: 20 minutes)

For an even richer flavor, brown the meatballs in a little olive oil.
Feel free to add other vegetables, such as carrots, green beans, or spinach.
Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and crusty bread for dipping.
