For a crunchier bar, bake for a few minutes longer. For a chewier bar, reduce the baking time slightly. Feel free to substitute other types of candy or chocolate chips for the M&M's®. Chopped nuts or dried fruit can also be added for extra flavor and texture. Store the granola bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
