Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C), approximately 5 minutes, if your model requires preheating.

02

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, salt, and pepper. Incorporate the egg and whisk until thoroughly combined. Spread the finely chopped pecans evenly on a plate.

03

Step

Dredge each pork chop in the spiced egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, transfer the chop to the plate of pecans, firmly pressing the pecans onto both sides to create a generous crust. Lightly spray both sides of the pecan-crusted chops with cooking spray and carefully place them in the air fryer basket.

04

Step

Air fry for 6 minutes. Gently turn the chops with tongs, and continue to air fry until the pork is cooked through and no longer pink in the center, about 6 minutes longer. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part should register 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

05

Step

Garnish with fresh parsley.

For optimal flavor, use high-quality, freshly ground spices.
Ensure the pecans are finely chopped to create an even and cohesive crust.
To prevent sticking, lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray before adding the pork chops.
If your air fryer model requires it, shake the basket halfway through the cooking process to ensure even browning.
Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful chop.
