While the pasta is cooking, heat a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Reserve the bacon drippings in the skillet. (Cook time: 5 minutes)

Add the chicken breast to the hot skillet with the bacon drippings. Cook until browned on all sides, but not fully cooked through, about 6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to keep warm. (Cook time: 6 minutes)

Add the light green parts of the sliced green onions to the skillet and cook until softened, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in the honey mustard mixture and heavy cream, bringing the sauce to a simmer. (Cook time: 2 minutes)

Return the chicken to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has slightly thickened and the chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes. (Cook time: 5 minutes)

Add the cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta and chicken with the sauce. Cook until heated through, about 2 minutes. (Cook time: 2 minutes)

Crumble the reserved crispy bacon over the top of the spaghetti. Garnish with the remaining dark green parts of the sliced green onions before serving.

For a richer flavor, try using smoked bacon.
Adjust the amount of honey and mustard to suit your taste preferences.
If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash more pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
