Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Prepare a standard 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease thoroughly. (5 minutes)

02

Step

On a lightly floured surface, gently roll each biscuit to approximately 1/4 inch thickness. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Evenly distribute the chopped ham and shredded Cheddar cheese over the rolled-out biscuit rounds. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Carefully gather the edges of each biscuit to enclose the filling, pinching to seal tightly. Form each into a smooth ball. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Place each filled biscuit ball into the prepared muffin cups. Gently press down to slightly flatten. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Brush the tops of each muffin with the beaten egg to promote browning and a glossy finish. Generously sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning. (3 minutes)

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and the biscuit dough is fully cooked through. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean. (15 minutes)

08

Step

Allow the muffins to cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature.

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a smear of Dijon mustard to the inside of the biscuit before adding the ham and cheese.
Feel free to experiment with different cheeses, such as Gruyere, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack for a spicy kick.
These muffins are best served fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave before serving.

These were a huge hit at my brunch! I substituted the ham with cooked sausage and they were amazing.
