Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Slice carrots on the diagonal into 1/4-inch-thick slices and place into a bowl. Drizzle with melted butter; stir in fresh garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Spread onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Roast in the preheated oven until carrots are lightly caramelized and tender, 20 to 22 minutes. (22 minutes)

05

Step

Sprinkle with minced fresh parsley before serving. (1 minute)

For enhanced flavor, try using brown butter instead of melted butter. Simply cook the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns a nutty brown color and releases a fragrant aroma. Be careful not to burn it!
Feel free to experiment with different herbs. Thyme, rosemary, or chives would also complement the garlic and carrots beautifully.
