Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush the remaining 1/4 cup of olive oil over the chicken. (3 minutes)

Return to the oven and continue baking until the chicken is cooked through, and the juices run clear when pierced with a fork, approximately 10-15 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should register 165°F (74°C). (15 minutes)

Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

For enhanced browning, broil the drumsticks for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
Experiment with different seasonings, such as paprika, onion powder, or herbs like rosemary and thyme.
Ensure even cooking by not overcrowding the baking dish. If necessary, use two dishes.
