Deceptively delicious, the Baby Guinness is a playful cocktail that mimics the appearance of its namesake stout. Coffee liqueur forms the dark body, while a delicate layer of Irish cream creates the creamy head, offering a sweet and indulgent experience.

Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

Gather your ingredients and a shot glass. (2 minutes)

02

Step
1 mins

Carefully pour the coffee liqueur into the shot glass, filling it almost to the top, leaving just enough room for the Irish cream. (1 minute)

03

Step
2 mins

Gently layer the Irish cream on top of the coffee liqueur by pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon. The Irish cream should float, creating a distinct 'head' similar to a pint of Guinness. (2 minutes)

04

Step
1 mins

Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly! (1 minute)

For a smoother layering effect, chill both liqueurs beforehand.
Experiment with different brands of coffee and Irish cream liqueurs to find your preferred flavor profile.
If you don't have a spoon for layering, you can carefully pour the Irish cream directly from the bottle, but go slowly to avoid it mixing with the coffee liqueur.
This shot is best enjoyed fresh, as the head will eventually dissipate.
