Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Set up a breading station with four shallow dishes. In the first dish, pour the milk. In the second dish, combine the flour and garlic-onion seasoning. In the third dish, place the ranch dressing. In the fourth dish, mix together the panko bread crumbs and dry ranch dressing mix. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Dip each mushroom cap first into the milk, then into the flour mixture, ensuring to shake off any excess. Next, dip it into the ranch dressing, followed by the panko bread crumb mixture, making sure the mushroom is fully coated. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Place the breaded mushrooms in a single layer in your air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Spray them generously with nonstick cooking spray. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Air fry for approximately 7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are golden brown and crispy. Check halfway through and flip them for even cooking. (7 minutes)

For extra crispy mushrooms, consider spraying them again with nonstick cooking spray halfway through the cooking time.
If you don't have an air fryer, these mushrooms can be baked in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Feel free to experiment with different types of mushrooms, such as cremini or button mushrooms, depending on your preference.
