For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a pinch of sea salt to the glaze. If the glaze becomes too thick, add a tiny bit more hot water, a drop at a time, until it thins out. Store leftover glaze in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before using.
