Follow The Directions

01

Step

Combine all ingredients (beef broth, ground sirloin, corn, green beans, peas, tomato sauce, carrots, potatoes, onion, celery, garlic, parsley, celery seed, and bay leaves) in a slow cooker. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Cook on Low for 4 hours. Check for moisture and add broth as needed to maintain desired consistency. (4 hours)

03

Step

Continue cooking for another 4 hours on Low. (4 hours)

04

Step

Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving. (2 minutes)

For a richer flavor, brown the ground sirloin in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker. This step adds depth and complexity to the soup.
Adjust the amount of beef broth according to your preference for a thicker or thinner soup. You can also use low-sodium broth to control the salt content.
Feel free to add other vegetables you enjoy, such as zucchini, bell peppers, or spinach. Get creative and customize the soup to your liking.
If you don't have fresh parsley, dried parsley can be substituted. Use about 1 teaspoon of dried parsley for every 1.5 tablespoons of fresh parsley.
Remove the bay leaves before serving the soup. They have served their purpose in infusing flavor and are not meant to be eaten.
