For a spicier kick, add a finely diced jalapeño pepper (seeds removed) to the mixture. If you don't have fresh cilantro, you can substitute with 1 tablespoon of dried cilantro. However, fresh cilantro will provide a more vibrant flavor. To prevent the guacamole from browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole before refrigerating.
