For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a pinch of sea salt to the glaze. If you don't have a double boiler, a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water works just as well. The glaze can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before using.
