Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a mixing bowl, add the chia seeds. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

02

Step

In a high-speed blender, combine the sliced banana, pitted dates, almond milk, cinnamon, and sea salt. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

03

Step

Pour the blended mixture over the chia seeds in the bowl, stirring well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed. (Prep time: 3 minutes)

04

Step

Allow the mixture to sit and thicken for at least 15 minutes, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator for a more pudding-like consistency. (Wait time: 15 minutes to overnight)

05

Step

Before serving, stir the chia "porridge" to redistribute any settled chia seeds. Top generously with fresh blueberries or any other desired toppings such as sliced almonds, shredded coconut, or a drizzle of maple syrup. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

For a richer flavor, try using vanilla almond milk or adding a splash of vanilla extract to the blender.
If you prefer a sweeter porridge, add a touch of maple syrup or honey to the blender.
Chia seeds can absorb a lot of liquid, so if the porridge becomes too thick, add a splash more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
For a warm chia porridge, gently heat the blended mixture in a saucepan over low heat before adding the chia seeds.
