Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your grill or a heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Generously rub the flank steak on all sides with the Ranch Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix and freshly ground black pepper. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired level of doneness. (8-10 minutes)

04

Step

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak. (5 minutes)

05

Step

While the steak is resting, prepare the avocado crema. In a blender or food processor, combine the sour cream, avocado, a pinch of Ranch seasoning, and lime juice. Puree until smooth and creamy. Add a little water if needed to reach your desired consistency. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Warm the tortillas according to package directions or by charring them lightly on the grill. (2-3 minutes)

07

Step

Assemble the tacos: Fill each tortilla with the sliced carne asada, and top with a generous dollop of avocado crema and thinly sliced radishes. Serve immediately with lime wedges for squeezing over the tacos.

For an extra smoky flavor, use a charcoal grill or add wood chips to your gas grill.
If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the steak in a hot cast-iron skillet.
Feel free to add other toppings to your tacos, such as pickled onions, cilantro, or a drizzle of hot sauce.
For a spicier crema, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few drops of your favorite hot sauce to the blender.
