For an extra layer of flavor, try using a flavored brandy, such as raspberry or cherry, in the berry sauce. If you don't have dariole molds, ramekins or small glasses work just as well. To ensure the panna cotta sets properly, use good-quality heavy cream with a high fat content. The berry sauce can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
