Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour in the cashew milk, egg, olive oil, and vanilla extract. (1 minute)

03

Step

Whisk the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined. A few small clumps are okay; do not overmix. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Gently fold in the white chocolate chips. (1 minute)

05

Step

Lightly grease a non-stick griddle or pan and heat over medium-low heat. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. (1 minute)

07

Step

Cook until small bubbles appear on the surface and begin to pop, about 2-3 minutes.

08

Step

Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom.

09

Step

Serve immediately with your favorite toppings such as honey, butter, fresh fruit, or extra white chocolate chips.

For a richer flavor, try using brown butter instead of regular butter in the batter.
If you don't have cashew milk, almond milk or regular milk can be substituted.
For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking.
Adjust the amount of matcha powder to your preference. Start with 1 tablespoon and increase if you desire a stronger matcha flavor.

Great recipe! I used coconut milk instead of cashew milk, and it worked perfectly. Will definitely make these again.

These pancakes were amazing! The matcha flavor was subtle but definitely there. I added some raspberries on top, and it was the perfect brunch.

  • Asia Oconnell

The pancakes were a bit dense for my liking. Next time, I'll try adding a bit more milk to thin out the batter.

  • Angeline Green

I loved how easy this recipe was to follow. My kids even enjoyed them, and they usually don't like anything green!
