Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey and Dijon mustard until smooth and well combined. Place the seasoned bread crumbs in a separate shallow dish. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Dredge each chicken breast in the honey-mustard mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, transfer the chicken to the bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Place the breaded chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. (30 minutes)

05

Step

Spoon any remaining honey-mustard mixture and bread crumbs evenly over the chicken breasts. Continue baking until the chicken is cooked through, the juices run clear, and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center registers at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), approximately 10 to 15 minutes more. (15 minutes)

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of smoked paprika to the bread crumbs.
If you don't have seasoned bread crumbs, you can make your own by adding Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder to plain bread crumbs.
To ensure even cooking, use chicken breasts that are similar in size and thickness.
Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.

My bread crumbs didn't stick very well. Next time, I'll try patting the chicken dry before coating.

I found that 30 minutes was too long and the breadcrumbs were starting to burn. The flavor was amazing though.
